Andreas Gebhart (born May 12, 1881 in Stams , † February 7, 1934 in Innsbruck ) was an Austrian politician ( TVP ).

Andreas Gebhart attended elementary school in his birthplace Stams and the grammar school in Brixen . He then worked for the Enzenberg 's property management in Schwaz. There he later became head of the Schwaz district gazette . The North Tyrolean cities elected Gebhart in 1914 as a trade representative in the Tyrolean state parliament . During the First World War he was at the front in 1915 with the Imperial and Royal Standschützen Battalion Schwaz. The member of the state parliament joined the farmers' union after the end of the war and worked closely with its chairman Josef Schraffl . In 1920 Gebhart was elected to the Tyrolean provincial government , of which he was a member of the regional council for agriculture until his death. He represented the state government in the state culture council and the chamber of agriculture . His political commitment was in the interests of mountain farmers and agricultural schools. Gebhart was the founder of the agricultural state school in Imst . He was an honorary citizen of over a hundred parishes in Tyrol.
