Andreas Hehle (born November 12, 1967 in Borna ; † April 24, 2019 ) was a German poet , speaker and moderator .

life and work

In 1979 Hartmut Lorenz, manager of the school band SCHULROCK, which was later renamed P 16 , became aware of the 11-year-old Hehle because of his unusually cheeky and profound poems. At this time he made contact with Kurt Demmler , who explained the basics of the copywriting trade to him. Both of them maintained this contact until Demmler's suicide in 2009.

Hähles first track, "Seelentausch", created with SCHULROCK, was sung by drummer Sven Jaschub. With the interpretation of his second song text "Bubi", the band won a youth band competition on GDR television in 1983 , which made them popular overnight. In the same year, Hehle moved to Stralsund for family reasons , which had a negative effect on the collaboration within the band. The song "P 16", also from Hähles pen, was the most famous title of this formation. In 1985, with the jointly developed title “Tell me where you are”, contact between him and P 16 finally broke off; also due to some intervention by the Ministry for State Security , which Hartmut Lorenz repeatedly advised against continuing to work with this copywriter.

In 1987 Hehle completed an apprenticeship as a skilled worker for machine typesetting technology and then worked from 1988 to 1994 in Stralsund as a prop master at the Stralsund theater , as a public relations officer in the marine museum and as artistic director of the OFF theater group "PUKS", where he has his own Pieces created.

During this time he continued to write texts for various up-and-coming bands, working with the saxophonist Burkhard Schmidt, with whom he also wrote titles in the following years. In addition, titles were also created for Ines Paulke (“Himmelblau”) and the group BABYLON. After the reunification he wrote mainly for the bands Mr. SAMMLERS PLANET, FUNKSTATION and for the singer Ina-Maria Federowski .

After moving to Dresden in 1994, he was, among other things, author , editor and presenter on radio “ NRJ ”, columnist for the Dresden city magazine “SAX” and author and director of the comedy revue “A ship will sink” at the Rock Theater Dresden. As a presenter, he created the fictional character Apunkt Bänger-Strobel, under whose pseudonym he published his book "... and to blame for everything is life, the pig ..." in 1994.

In 1997 he moved to Gera and worked there as a producer, presenter and editor for the regional broadcaster “TV Ostthüringen”, and performed his own live and TV show “Der Gnom - Die Andreas Hähle-Show” on both TVO and OKG Gera and was a freelance presenter and video editor.

Now living in Berlin, Hehle resumed his work as a lyricist, moderator and audio book speaker more intensively and on a freelance basis. He wrote mainly as a copywriter for UNKANNT VERZOGEN , Dunja Averdung & Jörg Nassler (Liaisong), Dirk Zöllner , Fährmann, Jan Preuss & The Secret Society, Transit , Wolfgang Becker and Christoph Keisers.

Also in 2007 he founded the band “sergejwitsch meets hähle” with thereminist Katja Kettler and Heiko Bandasch as producers (both formerly “Spacestaub”). The band broke up in 2010. Since 2011, Hehle has worked as an editor and presenter for the program “Wahl-Lokal” on rockradio.de and as a speaker for audio books.

On June 20, 2019, a memorial concert for Andreas Hähle took place in the Berliner Wabe .
