Andreas Rasmus Nielsen Koch (born August 17, 1871 in Chefoo , China , † August 22, 1952 in Hamburg ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Koch was born in 1871 as the son of Captain Andreas Johannes Koch and his wife Wilhelmine Maria Magdalena, née. Moeller was born. After attending high school in Flensburg and Wandsbeck , he studied law in Tübingen and Leipzig . During his studies in 1890 he became a member of the Tübingen fraternity Derendingia . He was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD . After his studies he worked as a lawyer , then as a district and regional judge in Hamburg. In 1914 he became a councilor at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court . From 1913 to 1933 he was a member of the Hamburg citizenship and from 1924 to 1933 was a member of the Hamburg Citizens Committee and was a member of the supervisory board of the Hamburg gas works . From 1918 it belonged to the German National People's Party .

After the Second World War , Koch became chairman of the small “Hamburg Right”, which explicitly saw itself as the successor to the DNVP. This joined in the summer of 1946 with the Hamburg regional association of the German construction united to the German Conservative Party . He ran for the DKP in the 1949 Bundestag election in fourth place on the Hamburg state list, but missed entry into the Bundestag. In the district committee election in the Hamburg-Mitte district , he was elected to the district committee as a representative of the DKP on the list of the Father City Association of Hamburg and was a member of it until his death in 1952.
