Andreas Kuhl

Andreas Kuhl (born May 10, 1979 in Siegen ) is a German Ju-Jutsu athlete and three-time world champion in this discipline.

Live and act

Andreas Kuhl grew up in Kreuztal and belongs to the judo association Siegerland . He is trained by his father to this day.

After around 15 years, Kuhl ended his active career in 2009. Previously, he had in Taiwan Kaohsiung the gold medal in the weight category up to 85 kg at the World Games won. He is national trainer fighting U21 / U18 men in the German Ju-Jutsu Association.

Professionally, he has completed training as a police superintendent. In August 2012, Kuhl married his long-time girlfriend Sabrina Hatzky , who is also a police commissioner and successful Ju-Jutsu athlete.

  • In 2009, Kuhl was voted both "Sportsman of the Year of the NRW State Police" and "Best Police Sportsman in Germany without Sports Funding".

He also received the Silver Laurel Leaf for his victory at the 2009 World Games.
