Andreas Müller-Cyran

Andreas Müller-Cyran (born October 4, 1962 in Bremen ) is a Catholic deacon and paramedic . He is the founder and technical head of the first nationwide crisis intervention team (KIT) in Munich and head of emergency pastoral care in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising .

biography

Müller-Cyran lived in his childhood on the Baltic and North Sea. He completed his Abitur at a college in St. Blasien . He studied ( Magister Artium ) at the University of Philosophy in Munich (SJ) and did his doctorate in psychology with Willi Butollo at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich .

As a pioneer of peritraumatic acute intervention , he made a decisive contribution to the establishment and quality assurance of psychosocial emergency care in Germany.
