Willi Butollo
Willi Butollo (born September 22, 1944 in Eberstein (Carinthia) ) is an Austrian psychologist , psychotherapist and professor at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich .
education and profession
After graduating from high school in Klagenfurt , Butollo initially trained as a primary school teacher. He then studied psychology at the University of Vienna ; He completed his studies in 1968 with a doctorate as Dr. phil off. Butollo obtained his habilitation in psychology at the University of Graz in 1972. He then worked at the University of London before he was appointed to the Chair of Clinical Psychology at the University of Munich in 1973 .
Butollo's research interests lie in the area of anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder , for which he developed his own therapy concept - a combination of gestalt therapy and behavioral therapy under the name of integrative therapy .
