Andreas Schiemann (born July 30, 1968 ) is a former German soccer player who played 14 games in the 2nd Bundesliga for Hertha BSC . Since 2011 he has been an assistant coach at SV Falkensee-Finkenkrug .

Player career

In his youth, Andreas Schiemann played for SF Kladow and SV Blau-Weiß Spandau, among others . Then the attacker played for SC Gatow . There he drew attention to himself with his accuracy in the fourth-class Association League Berlin .

In 1994 Schiemann finally moved to second division Hertha BSC . Under Karsten Heine , however, he could not earn a regular place in the 1994/95 season. The following year he played no role and only played three games in the closing stages of the season as a substitute in defense under Jürgen Röber, who was hired for the winter break . Mostly in his second and final year at Hertha he was part of the Hertha Amateurs squad, but he didn't play regularly there either.

Then Schiemann switched to Spandauer BC . With the SBC, however, Schiemann missed the intended promotion from the association league.

From 1997, Andreas Schiemann played as a Libero at the district rivals Spandauer SV .

After two seasons with SSV, Schiemann left the club and signed a contract with FC Sachsen Leipzig . The Saxons were able to qualify for the newly founded regional league in 1999/2000 . And there, too, Schiemann was an absolute regular player with 34 appearances in 2000/01 , who scored seven goals as a defender, only one less than striker Carsten Klee . If the Leipziger had secured the league by sport, they received no license because of a lack of guarantee and had to relegate.

As a result, Schiemann signed a contract with SV Falkensee-Finkenkrug . He stayed in Falkensee until 2008 before going back to FC Spandau 06.

Coaching career

At FC Spandau 06, Andreas Schiemann took over the position of assistant coach in 2010. Since 2011 Schiemann has been employed in the same position at the Brandenburg league club SV Falkensee-Finkenkrug.
