The SV Falkensee-Finkenkrug is a sports club from Falkensee , Havelland district in Brandenburg . The SVFF has many branches, including hiking, gymnastics, soccer, table tennis, badminton and volleyball.

history

The history of SV Falkensee-Finkenkrug begins in 1913 with the establishment of FC Grün Weiß Rot Finkenkrug 82 . The club had teams in Falkensee and Finkenkrug. In 1916 it was renamed FC Germania Finkenkrug . Another highlight in the club's history was the founding of SV Seegefeld-Falkenhagen on June 16, 1920.

In 1945 both associations were dissolved, followed by the re-establishment of SG Neu Finkenkrug in 1949 , SG Falkensee in 1950 and in 1951 the transformation of SG Neu Finkenkrug into SG Finkenkrug . From SG Falkensee was born on June 1, 1952 to start the unit sports association as a carrier operating the BSG unit Falkensee . On July 7, 1956, the carrier company changed and the BSG unit Falkensee became the BSG Chemie Lichtenberg-Falkensee , since 1969 only BSG Chemie Falkensee . In 1973 there was another change in the management company and BSG Chemie Falkensee became BSG Meat and Fresh Eggs Production Falkensee (short: BSG FF Falkensee ). In 1984 the former SG Finkenkrug became the BSG Turbine Finkenkrug . On June 17, 1987, the BSG Turbine Finkenkrug and the BSG FF Falkensee merged to form SG Falkensee-Finkenkrug .

After the fall of the Berlin Wall , the club was renamed Sportverein Falkensee-Finkenkrug e. V. newly founded. Since April 23, 2010, the former Brandenburg Minister of Justice, Barbara Richstein, chaired the association. There was a change at the top of the club in 2016. The previous 2nd chairman Sven Steller swapped positions with Barbara Richstein. She is now 2nd chairman and Sven Steller 1st chairman.

With a 2-1 win against defending champion SV Babelsberg 03 , SV Falkensee-Finkenkrug won the Brandenburg State Cup for the first time on May 1, 2012 under coach Frank Rohde and started the first round of the DFB Cup in the 2012/13 season against the VfB Stuttgart . The Bundesliga team was able to win the game with a clear 5-0. Due to the current situation, the association is very committed to migrants and refugees. Everyone is welcome and classrooms are made available.
