FN 1At the end of the season, three clubs were relegated to the subordinate national league. The exact number was based on the number of relegated members from the Oberliga Nordost 2012/13 and the promoters from the two seasons of the regional league. The rise of SG Blau-Gelb Laubsdorf and RSV Waltersdorf 1909 from the previous season, due to the reorganization of the Regionalliga Nordost and the associated restructuring, resulted in a field of 13 teams at the beginning. Thus, a third promotion place from the regional league was declared to complete the field of 16 teams. Due to the voluntary relegation from SV Germania 90 Schöneiche , there was a field of 17 teams for the 2012/13 season.
