The Brandenburg League 2008/09 was the 19th season and the first as the sixth highest division in men's football. It began on August 16, 2008 with the game FC Schwedt 02 against FV Motor Eberswalde and ended on June 13, 2009 with the 30th matchday.
The FSV 63 Luckenwalde became national champions in Brandenburg for the first time this season and was promoted to the northeast soccer league . The SV Altlüdersdorf won with 2 points behind, the runner-up. During the winter break, SG Blau-Gelb Laubsdorf led the table of the Brandenburg League after the first half of the season and thus won the unofficial title of autumn champion.
After the 30th matchday, SV Schwarz-Rot Neustadt (Dosse) and Breesener SV Guben Nord were relegated and had to relegate to the regional league.
