Andreas Uebele

Andreas Uebele (* 1960 in Faurndau ) is a German graphic designer and professor for visual communication . He lives and works in Stuttgart and teaches in Düsseldorf .

life and work

Uebele studied architecture and urban planning at the University of Stuttgart and free graphics at the Stuttgart Art Academy . From 1991 to 1995 he worked as a freelancer at Behnisch & Partner . In 1996 he founded his own office for visual communication in Stuttgart. In 1998 he was appointed professor for visual communication at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences. Andreas Uebele is a member of the Type Directors Club New York, Art Directors Club New York and since 2007 a member of the AGI Alliance Graphique Internationale .

In 2015 Andreas Uebele received a practical scholarship from the Villa Massimo in Rome.

Awards

The work of the office has been recognized with over 300 national and international awards, including the 2003 Grand Prix of the red dot award: communication design , 2009 with the design award of the Federal Republic of Germany in gold and 2011 with the design award of the Federal Republic of Germany in silver.
