job

Andreas Wenning has been developing designs and realizations for tree houses for eleven years now. From the smallest project - a four square meter children's tree house in Stuttgart - to its largest object to date, a 50 m² conference tree house in Belgium . Wenning is now internationally known and has currently completed around 50 tree house projects worldwide, including hotel buildings in Switzerland , Florida , Argentina and France . In Germany, Andreas Wenning is currently working with the Berlin entrepreneur Kolja Stegemann on the project "The Urban Treehouse" (the urban tree house). On Stegemann's family property in Berlin-Zehlendorf , on Quermatenweg, two modern tree houses are to be built by the end of April 2014. The construction costs should amount to approx. 100,000 euros.

Stegemann wants to rent the tree houses to tourists on the one hand (approx. 140 euros / day each), and on the other hand, through a cooperation with the Technical University of Berlin (TU), make them available to architecture students for study purposes. The two tree houses are to be erected at a height of four meters. They should stand on approximately 4 m² steel girder plinths that are clad with wood and can lead gas, electricity and water pipes inside. The houses themselves are to have approx. 25 m² each, with interior fittings made of solid spruce wood, terraces made of larch wood and an aluminum facade.
