Andreas Winkler (born December 1, 1969 ) is a former German soccer player .

Player career

Emerging from the youth department of FC Bayern Munich , he was part of the professional squad for the 1990/91 season and only played three friendly matches. In the 1991/92 season he was active for a season for the second division club Blau-Weiß 90 Berlin and made his debut on August 4, 1991 (2nd match day) in a goalless draw in the away game against VfB Oldenburg .

In the 1992/93 season he played for one season for the upper division and second division relegated BSV Stahl Brandenburg before he was obliged by the second division Hannover 96 . After three seasons he moved to league rivals VfB Lübeck in 1996 and after just one season he was signed by Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg .
