Andreas Winterer

Andreas Winterer (born September 12, 1968 in Cologne ) is a German author , journalist , communications consultant and writer . He also writes under various pseudonyms, including Zara , John Doe and stirnulator .

Life

As a computer expert, he has been writing tests and non-fiction books that deal with the subject since 1994; he runs his own blog on computer security.

Since 1989 he has also dedicated himself to promoting talented writers. The online literary magazine “Zarathustras miese Kaschemme”, which he runs, sees itself as a platform for talented authors whose texts have not yet been published elsewhere - or commercially successful.

Winterer moves in the border area between mainstream literature and science fiction, whereby the tendency towards parody is pronounced. For ZYN magazine ! he wrote over 50 satires. His SF - Persiflage Cosmo Pollite was nominated in 2001 for the Kurd-Laßwitz-Preis as “Best German Science Fiction Novel 2000” and for the German Science Fiction Prize as “Best Novel 2000”. 2011 appeared Scott Bradley , a collection of SF trash - short stories , the "combined with cynicism and social criticism comedy" relied on. Since 2001 he has also been writing for the independent online magazine Evolver , including - since 2009 - the series Columns the World Doesn't Need .

Andreas Winterer lives as a freelance author in Munich.
