Andreas Zehnder (born December 11, 1965 in Frauenfeld ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player and current ice hockey coach.

Career

Andreas Zehner played from 1982 to 1985 when SC Herisau before after one season at EHC Dübendorf for EHC Kloten changed. In 1989 he moved to Zürcher SC , with whom he was Swiss champion several times . After playing one season at EHC Chur in 2001/02 , he moved to EHC Basel for the next three seasons . In 2005 he moved to SC Weinfelden , where he ended his playing career in 2008.

Internationally he was in the squad of the Swiss national ice hockey team at the ice hockey world championships at the A-World Cup in 1994 and at the B-World Cup in 1995 .

Since 2009 he has been active as a trainer in the youth team at EHC Winterthur for the U17s.
