Andreas von Gredler (born October 1, 1802 in Hippach , Tyrol ; † February 27, 1870 in Vienna ) was an Austrian lawyer , politician and member of the Frankfurt National Assembly ; he was mainly active in Vienna.

Life

Andreas Gredler studied law in Innsbruck and Vienna in the 1820s . In the meantime, he became a member of the Libera Germania Innsbruck fraternity in 1823 . In Vienna he was awarded a Dr. iur. PhD .

From 1835 to 1865 he worked as court and court advocate and bill notary in Vienna. Since 1844 he was a member of the Juridisch-Politischen Reading Club .

In the revolutionary year of 1848 he was elected to the Frankfurt National Assembly for the constituency of Tyrol and Vorarlberg (2nd Lower Inn Valley, Schwaz) . He remained non-attached there. In 1848/49 he was a member of the constituent Reichstag in Austria . From 1865 to 1870 he was a member of the Tyrolean state parliament .

From 1850 he sat on the board of directors of the Österreichische Creditanstalt in Vienna and was raised to the nobility in 1869 .
