Andrei Ioniță
Andrei Ionuț Ioniță (born January 1, 1994 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian cellist .
Career
Ioniţă began playing the piano at the age of five and received his first cello lessons three years later. He initially received his training at the Iosif Sava music school in Bucharest with Ani-Marie Paladi and has been studying with Jens Peter Maintz at the Berlin University of the Arts since 2012 .
Andrei Ioniță has played in halls such as the Chamber Music Hall of the Berlin Philharmonic , the Herkulessaal in Munich, the Stadtcasino Basel , the Mariinsky Theater in Moscow and the Carnegie Hall in New York.

Andrei Ioniță is a scholarship holder of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben and as such is allowed to play a violoncello by Giovanni Battista Rogeri , Brescia 1671.
