Andrei Sepci (born October 7, 1911 in Máramoros , Austria-Hungary , † December 3, 1992 ) was a Romanian football player and coach . He played a total of 115 games in the Divizia A . As a coach, he won the Romanian Cup with Știința Cluj in 1965.
Career
societies
Sepci first played for Olimpia Satu Mare before moving to Universitatea Cluj in the newly founded Divizia A in 1932 . With Cluj he reached the final of the championship in 1933 , but lost there Ripensia Timișoara . A year later he was in the final of the Romanian Cup with his team and was left behind against the same opponent. In the following years, his club could no longer build on these services and slipped into the lower midfield of the league. In 1937 he moved to Tricolor Baia Mare in the Divizia B . A year later he joined Victoria Cluj . There he ended his career in 1940.
National team
Sepci played four games for the Romanian national team . He made his debut on June 4, 1933 at the Balkan Cup in the first game against Bulgaria . He played all three games and did not concede a goal. The tournament was won by the Romanian team. Subsequently, Sepci was not considered for two years. On June 24, 1935, he played his last international match in the friendly against Greece when he was substituted on for Anghel Crețeanu at half-time . He was not defeated in this game either.
