Andrew Hunter (born July 25, 1986 in Halton ) is a Scottish and British swimmer .

His first international appearance was at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne . There he won silver with the Scottish 4 × 200 m freestyle relay. At the Short Course World Championships in Manchester in 2008 he won the silver medal with the British 4 × 200 m freestyle relay and a new European record. At the British Swimming Championships in 2008 he was able to qualify for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing for the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay.
