Robert Renwick (born July 21, 1988 in Abu Dhabi , United Arab Emirates ) is a British swimmer .

Career

His first international appearance was at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne . There he won silver with the Scottish 4 × 200 m freestyle relay.

At the Short Course World Championships in Manchester in 2008 he won the silver medal with the British 4 × 200 m freestyle relay and a new European record. He was also able to secure the bronze medal in the 400 m freestyle.

At the British Swimming Championships in 2008 he was able to qualify for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing over the 200 m freestyle and for the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay.

In 2010 Renwick won the 200 m freestyle at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi and came second in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay.

At the 2015 World Championships in Kazan , he won the gold medal with the British 4 × 200 m freestyle relay.

Renwick is trained by Eileen Adams.
