Andrij Vjatscheslawowytsch Orlyk ( Ukrainian Андрій В'ячеславович Орлик ; born March 6, 1998 in Shostka , Ukraine ) is a Ukrainian cross-country skier .
Career
Orlyk started internationally for the first time at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2015 in Steg . His best placement there was fourth place over 10 km classic. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun , he finished 75th in the sprint, 19th place together with Ruslan Perechoda in the team sprint and 17th place with the relay. The following year, at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer, he came 17th in sprint, 15th in cross and fifth in 10 km freestyle. His best placings at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2016 in Râșnov were 23rd place over 10 km classic and 17th place with the relay. In December 2016, he started the World Cup in Davos for the first time and achieved 91st place in the sprint. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2017 in Soldier Hollow , he finished 48th in the sprint, 23rd place over 10 km freestyle and 20th place in skiathlon and at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti 85th place in sprint and the 59th place over 15 km classic. At the end of January 2018 at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Goms he came in 65th place in the sprint, 36th place in skiathlon and 26th place over 10 km classic. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he ran on 86th place over 15 km freestyle, 73rd place in the sprint and 20th place together with Oleksij Krassowskyj in the team sprint.
