Oleksij Krassowskyj ( Ukrainian Олексій Красовський ; English Oleksii Krasovskyi ; born March 30, 1994 in Rokytne , Ukraine ) is a Ukrainian cross-country skier .

Career

Krassowskyj has participated in competitions of the Fédération Internationale de Ski since 2011 . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme , he finished 79th in the sprint and 17th in the relay. His best placings at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi were 69th place over 15 km classic and 20th place in the team sprint. He ran his first World Cup races at the beginning of the 2014/15 season in Ruka , which he finished in 80th place in the sprint and 75th place over 15 km. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun in 2015 , he finished 62nd in the sprint, 49th in the skiathlon and 17th in the relay. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season in Syanki he achieved his first podium in the Eastern Europe Cup with second place over 10 km . His best placings at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti were 50th place in the skiathlon and 16th place together with Ruslan Perechoda in the team sprint. The following year at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, 50th place in the 50 km mass start race and 20th place together with Andrij Orlyk in the team sprint were his best placings. His best results at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld in Tirol were 55th place over 15 km classic and 14th place with the relay.
