Andrzej Krzeptowski (born August 3, 1902 in Kościelisko , † April 12, 1981 in Zakopane ) was a Polish skier.

Career

Krzeptowski, who started for SN PTT Zakopane, was third behind Henryk Mückenbrunn and Tadeusz Zaydel at the Polish ski jumping championships in Krynica in 1924 . He celebrated further successes at the national level in 1924 by winning the army championship and in 1928 by winning the championship over 50 kilometers.

At the Olympic Winter Games in St. Moritz in 1928 , Krzeptowski started as a cross-country skier. He finished thirteenth over 50 kilometers and 25th over 18 kilometers. A year later he took part in the 1929 Nordic World Ski Championships in Zakopane . While he was fourteenth over 50 kilometers, he reached 19th place over the short distance of 18 kilometers.

In order not to confuse him with his cousin Andrzej Krzeptowski , Andrzej was often called Andrzej Krzeptowski II.

After his death he was buried in the Cmentarz Zasłużonych na Pęksowym Brzyzku cemetery in Zakopane .
