Anenii Noi is a city in Moldova . It is located about 36 kilometers southeast of the capital Chișinău on the Bîc River , a tributary of the Dniester . The city is the capital of the eponymous Rajon Anenii Noi .

history

On June 27, 1731, a village under the name Paşcani pe Bîc was first mentioned in the place of today's Anenii Noi. On April 27, 1833 it was found that the same place under the name Anina Paşcani belonged to the property of Count Stuart, who had sworn an oath of allegiance to Russia. In 1856 the village was leased to the Turkish merchant Hussein Bey, who owned parts of the village. The hamlet of Anenirămîn was abandoned and destroyed after the Tatars were driven out of Bessarabia .

The village was revitalized in 1883 by the influx of farmers from the neighboring towns who practiced agriculture and cattle breeding here. In 1889, German settlers who came from the Mykolaiv Governorate bought Dessjatinen land in 1750 and settled in Țînțăreni.

In the 1910 census, two villages were found on the territory of the municipality: Nicolaevca Nouă, inhabited by German settlers, and Nicolaevca Veche of Russia, both of which had a church and a school. The Russians, who owned less land than the Germans, worked to build the German houses in Nicolaevca Nouă and went to church with the Moldovans in Bulboaca. On January 1, 1926, when Bessarabia belonged to the Kingdom of Romania , Nicolaevca Nouă was renamed Anenii Noi, Nicolaevca Veche was called Anenii Veche from then on. In 1940, the Germans were forcibly resettled in what was then the German Reich as part of the Heim ins Reich policy of National Socialism . They left 106 households with 120 houses and 1,715 hectares of farmland.

In 1965 Anenii Noi received town charter , in 1969 it had 6,500 inhabitants. The population growth was based on the construction of an industrial infrastructure and on the incorporation of the neighboring towns of Albinița , Ruseni and Beriozchi , which was reversed by July 1, 1998.

Sports

The FC Codru Anenii Noi, which also competed under the name FC Codru Chișinău , is one of the most successful Moldovan women's football clubs . Together with the later Romanian national player Gabriela Enache, he was the top scorer of the first UEFA Women's Cup in 2001/02, and from then until 2005/2006 he took part in all rounds of the UEFA Women's Champions League.
