Angelo! (English original title: Angelo Rules , French original title: Angelo la Débrouille ) is an animation series for children and young people from France . The series was broadcast for the first time in 2009, and in Germany the show runs on Super RTL and Cartoon Network . The licensor is Cake Distribution Ltd. in London .

Angelo is 12 years old and lives with his family in a small town. He does many different things with his friends Sherwood (nicknamed "Sher") and Lola.
The main characters of the show are the protagonist Angelo as well as Sherwood and Lola, supporting characters are Angelo's mother, Angelo's father, Peter (Angelo's little brother), Elena (Angelo's big sister), Mr. Foot (teacher), Walter Manetti (school racket), Alonzo, Clyde , Brandy (all older students), Butterfinger (Angelo's classmate, actually called Glenn), Joe Momma (Angelo's cat), Mr. Bubbles (Peter's goldfish), Hunter (Elena's friend), Ms. Perla (art teacher), Mr. Geezer (elderly gentleman and neighbor of Angelo) and other people in the city. Angelo's archenemy Becky, who is Mr. Foot's niece, only appears later in season 2 of the episode The New Student .
Angelo and his friends are avid fans of the band Slobber, as well as the professional skateboarder Ollie Van Dunk. Angelo also loves to skateboard with his friends.
