Sandra Quadflieg (* 17th January 1979 in Bremen ) is a German actress .

Career

Sandra Quadflieg completed her acting training at the School for Drama Hamburg in 2002 . She was then accepted for numerous roles in theater , film and television , a. a. Großstadtrevier ( ARD ), Die Rettungsflieger ( ZDF ) and St. Angela (ARD) are involved. She became known to the broad theater audience in 2008 through the reading tour Mein Vater Gottfried Benn together with Otto Sander (including the Renaissance Theater in Berlin, Haus im Park in Hamburg , Theater am Goetheplatzin Bremen). For the actress, this production was also her directorial debut. Born in Bremen, she also works as a voice actress for B. in the television series Mouk , the world travel bear as Giao, and as an audio book and radio play speaker, z. B. for the successful series Die drei ??? and Hanni & Nanni .

In 2017 she stood for the premiere Nothing is missing - except you on stage with Ulrich Tukur in the St. Pauli Theater in Hamburg. For this she wrote the stage version, acted as speaker and directed . Die Welt wrote in her theater review: “A real treat!” She also recorded this program together with Ulrich Tukur as an audio book for Random House Audio , worked out the audio book manuscript and also directed it. The audio book was awarded 1st place on the hr2 audio book best list by Hessischer Rundfunk . It was also the audio book of the week for Bavarian Radio .

Volunteering

Quadflieg is on the board of the Benita Quadflieg Foundation, which works for children with developmental delays, disabilities and early childhood trauma. The Benita Quadflieg Foundation supports the Mignon House, which Benita Quadflieg founded in 1975. She is also on the board of the Lebendiger Jungfernstieg cultural association , which was founded by Alexander Otto and his Lebendige Stadt Foundation. Every year, the association organizes the Inner Alster Film Festival on the Alster, the music festival on Jungfernstieg and the opening of the outdoor gallery Jungfernstieg in cooperation with the Hamburg Film Festival .

Quadflieg is the representative of Women in Film and Television Germany (WIFTG), an international business network for women in the film, television and digital media. Since 2018 she has been the patron of the North German Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Donation Register, which advocates for blood cancer patients. Quadflieg is committed as an ambassador for the Blue Ball in favor of the children's cancer ward of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE). The Blue Ball takes place every year in the Hotel Atlantic Kempinski Hamburg .

Quadflieg is married to Mirco Quadflieg, grandson of the actor Will Quadflieg and nephew of both the actor Christian Quadflieg and the actress Sabina Trooger and the writer and book designer Roswitha Quadflieg (in her novel Nine Months About My Mother's Death , Sandra Quadflieg also appears as S. on).

Quadflieg has a sister, the editor Patricia Brandt ( Weser Kurier ). Her brother-in-law is editor-in-chief of the regional edition Die Norddeutsche at the Bremer Tageszeitung AG, Michael Brandt.

Sandra Quadflieg has lived in Hamburg since she trained as an actor.
