history

Around 1337 Heinrich Kleyen is mentioned as the owner of the grain mill . In the vicinity of the "Kleymühle" there was a swampy headwaters, the "Url". In 1459 the mill was mentioned when the Gaimersheim benefit was built . According to a Salbuch from 1714, the "Angermühle" came into the possession of the Ingolstadt Jesuits and after their ban (1773) came into the possession of the Malteser-Kommende Oberhaunstadt . After the secularization in Bavaria in private ownership, the Angermühle was in operation until around 1960. Until the 1961 census, Angermühle was mentioned as part of the Gaimersheim community.
