The Bistum Ikot Ekpene ( lat. : Dioecesis Ikotekpenensis ) is in Nigeria preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Ikot Ekpene .

history

The diocese Ikot Ekpene was on March 1, 1963 by Pope John XXIII. established with the Apostolic Constitution Catholicae res from cessions of territory of the diocese of Calabar .

It is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Calabar as a suffragan .
