In 1966 he worked on the restoration of the historical Palazzo Balbi-Senarega in Genoa and made sure that it was converted into the location of the Institute for Art History.

Fronzoni designed numerous posters for art exhibitions in galleries and museums. One of his best known is the Fontana poster from 1966 for the La Polena gallery in Genoa, in which he typographically quotes the slotted canvas in Lucio Fontana's pictures .

Fronzoni has been teaching at various educational institutions since 1967, such as B. at the Società Umanitaria in Milan, at the Istituto d'Arte of Monza and at the Istituto Delle Industrie Artistiche in Urbino . In 1982 Fronzoni founded his own design school in Milan, which he directed until 2001.

Quotes

"Designing is not a profession, designing is a way of existence, a way of relating to life, a choice to behave in a certain way."

“With a few exceptions, I hardly use any color in my work; my language is black and white. But the black and white does not rob us of colors - it marks the extreme poles of a space that contains them and harbors them. [...] The color is in us; we ourselves are the color. "

About his collaboration in the restoration of the Palazzo Balbi he said:

"I was convinced then - and still am today - that the juxtaposition of old and new can lead to a fruitful dialogue - but only if you have the courage to radically confront them."
