Anhalt-Wittenberg is the name of the easternmost region in the state of Saxony-Anhalt . These include the landscapes of Anhalt , the Fläming and the region along the Elbe in the area of Lutherstadt Wittenberg and the city of Köthen . The center of the region is Dessau-Roßlau . In the west, Anhalt-Wittenberg borders the Magdeburg region .
