Anikó Donáth

Anikó Donáth (born April 24, 1971 in Zurich ) is a Swiss actress , singer and author with Hungarian roots.

Career

At the age of 6 she entered Claudia Corti's ballet school , an occupation that shaped her later artistic activity. After completing her school- leaving certificate in modern language at the Im Lee canton school in Winterthur , she began studying law at the University of Zurich , which she completed up to the "cand. Iur." pursued. At the University of Zurich she founded “Elsa”, the local group of the European Law Students' Association, and studied for two semesters at the Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao , Spain. In the seventh semester, she dropped out of studies and devoted herself to theater. Anikó Donáth is a great-granddaughter of the Zurich engineer Max Maag and the granddaughter of the Zurich Neumünster organist and composer Alfred Baum .

Anikó Donáth has been a freelance actress, singer and author since 1995. In 1995 she founded the "Shake Company" with Dominik Flaschka , who hired her for numerous leading roles and original casts. It was also occupied by Jörg Schneider and Erich Vock . She switched between television, film, radio, boulevard theater and the Zurich Opera House , where she worked in acting roles with David Pountney , Matthias Hartmann , Claus Guth and George Whyte . On television she started as a presenter for the bedtime story , via Lüthi and Blanc to the comedy show Edelmais & Co. In between she was a talk guest at Boser & Böser on TeleZüri . In the cinema she was seen as a policewoman in Marco Rima's Handyman and in Rolf Lyssy's “Last Pointe”. She toured Switzerland for three years with the solo piece "Cavewoman" and in 2012 founded the formation "Die Exfreundinnen". Donáth has been writing a monthly column for the Coop newspaper since 2018 .
