Daniel Rohr

Daniel Rohr (born August 22, 1960 in Zurich ) is a Swiss actor , director and theater director .

Career

Daniel Rohr completed his training as an actor and director at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg . This was followed by around 20 years as an actor on German-speaking stages, including at the Schauspiel Bonn (1985), Schauspielhaus Zürich (1986), at the Theater an der Ruhr in Mülheim (1986–1992), at the Deutsches Theater in Göttingen (1992–1999) and on Theater Neumarkt in Zurich (1999-2004). Rohr also founded the Göttingen Inner Courtyard Theater Festival, which he has directed since 1997, and played roles in various Swiss films ( Ernstfall in Havanna , Sternenberg, Murk's secret , in love with millions ). Rohr produces and organizes its own theater projects under the Stern-Theater label . Since 2004 he has also been director of the Rigiblick Theater in Zurich.
