Anita Neil
Anita Neil ( Doris Anita Neil; born April 5, 1950 in Wellingborough ) is a former British sprinter .
At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, she reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and came in seventh place in the 4-by-100-meter relay .
In 1969 she won at the European Athletics Championships in Athens over 100 m and with the British team in the 4 x 100 meter relay bronze.
At the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 she was sixth over 100 m and won silver with the English 4 x 100 meter relay. In 1971 she was eighth over 100 m at the European Championships in Helsinki .
At the Olympic Games in Mexico City in 1968, she was eliminated over 100 m in the quarter-finals and was seventh in the 4-by-100-meter relay .
In 1970 she became English champion over 100 m.
