Anita Olsen Katnosa , born in Olsen (born January 21, 1973 ) is a former Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Olsen Katnosa, who competed for the Svea Skilag , made her debut in Oslo in February 1995 in the cross-country skiing world cup and finished 29th over 30 km classic. In the same month she ran her first race in the Continental Cup in Bergeforsen , which she finished classically in third place over 5 km. The following month she also took third place over 5 km classic at the Continental Cup in Piteå . In the 1995/96 season she came in the points five times in the World Cup. In Kawgolowo she achieved her first top ten placement and her best placement in the individual World Cup with tenth place over 10 km classic. At the end of the season, she finished 32nd in the overall World Cup. This was her best result in the overall World Cup. In December 1998 she won her first classic win in the Continental Cup in Lillehammer over 10 km. In addition, she was there third in the 5 km freestyle. In the 2000/01 season she reached her second and last top ten placement in the World Cup with tenth place in the sprint at the World Cup in Nové Město . At the Norwegian Championships in 2001 she was third in the sprint and second over 15 km. In February 2003 she won her second victory in the Continental Cup in Keuruu over 5 km freestyle. The following month she won second place over 30 km classic at the Norwegian Championships in Trondheim . In her last active season 2004/05, she came in the Scandinavian Cup twice in the top ten. She won the 10 km freestyle in Veldre and finished eighth overall at the end of the season. She completed her 48th and last World Cup individual race in January 2005 in Nové Město , which she finished in 37th place in the sprint.
