Anna Mazulewitsch-Boos (born August 10, 1956 in Lünen ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and was a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament from 2007 to 2010 .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1975, Boos studied pharmacy at the University of Münster until 1980 . After passing the state examination , she received her doctorate in 1984 with a thesis on investigations into the biosynthesis of axenomycins in Streptomyces lisandri . From 1981 to 1985 she also worked as a research assistant at the University of Münster, then until 1996 as a pharmacist . In 1989 she started as a trainer for pharmaceutical technical assistants (PTA) at the city of Münster . However, because of her move to the state parliament , her teaching activities have been suspended since August 2007.

She is married and has four children.

Boos joined the SPD in 1983. Her actual political career began in 2000 when she became chairwoman of the SPD local association in Münster-Kinderhaus , which she remained until 2004. Then she was an assessor in the SPD sub-district of Münster until 2007 . After Birgit Fischer , a member of the Bochum state parliament, resigned on May 11, 2007 , Anna Boos followed her to the state parliament three days later. In the state elections in 2010, she tried in vain for her re-election in the Münster-Nord constituency . She remained on the board of the SPD local association Münster-Nord.
