Anna Chmelková

Anna Chmelková (born July 26, 1944 , born Anna Blanáriková ) is a former athlete from the ČSSR. With a height of 1.69 m, her competition weight was 58 kg.

In 1964 she was under her maiden name with 55.0 seconds in the 400-meter run in 23rd place on the world's best list. In 1965 she married and had a child.

At the European Championships in Budapest in 1966 , she improved the national record with 53.6 seconds. After 54.0 seconds in the semifinals, she improved the national record again in the final. With 52.9 seconds she was one second ahead of second-placed Hungarian Antónia Munkácsi .

In 1968 at the Olympic Games in Mexico City, Chmelková was eliminated with 54.9 seconds in the lead.
