Anna Elisabeth von Anhalt-Bernburg (born March 19, 1647 in Bernburg ; † September 3, 1680 in Bernstadt ) was a princess of Anhalt-Bernburg and by marriage Duchess of Württemberg-Bernstadt .

Life

Anna Elisabeth was a daughter of Prince Christian II of Anhalt-Bernburg (1599–1656) from his marriage to Eleonore Sophie (1603–1675), daughter of Duke Johann of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg .

She married on March 13, 1672 in Bernstadt Duke Christian Ulrich I of Württemberg-Bernstadt (1652-1704). The duchess was learned and musically gifted, was considered a talented singer, mastered several languages ​​as well as numerous instruments. She had considerable influence on her husband and also advised him on state affairs.

Anna Elisabeth died as a result of the birth of her last child.
