Anna Kathrin Bleuler , also Anna-Kathrin Bleuler , (* 1975 in Zurich ) is a Swiss actress and literary scholar . Her research area is the poetics of the Middle Ages.

Life

Acting activity

Anna Kathrin Bleuler studied acting in Zurich from 1994 to 1996 and graduated with a diploma. From 1995 to 1997 she worked as a speaker for the Swiss radio station DRS . She appeared in the TV series First Love (1998) and in the films Comedian Harmonists (1997), To die beautiful (1999) and The valley of the shadows (1999). In 2000 Bleuler was seen in several episodes of the international sci-fi television series Lexx - The Dark Zone , her role character May gave one of the episodes the title. The short film All My Mothers (2003), in which she played the leading role, was shown at the 39th Solothurn Film Festival , among others . From 1997 to 2002 she studied German language and literature of the Middle Ages, theater studies and linguistics in Zurich and Munich . In 2003/2004 she was a research assistant at Jan-Dirk Müller's chair . As a scholarship holder of the international PhD program Textuality in the Premodern of the Bavarian Elite Network , she received her doctorate summa cum laude in 2006 with a dissertation on the subject of structuring and assessing Neidhart's summer songs on the basis of the poetological model . The work was published as a book by Max Niemeyer Verlag in 2008 . From 2007 to 2010 she was a temporary academic advisor at Jan-Dirk Müller's chair.

Anna Kathrin Bleuler has been an assistant professor at the University of Salzburg since 2010 . In autumn 2012 she submitted her habilitation thesis entitled Eating - Drinking - Love . Aspects of a poetics of the alimentary in courtly love poetry .

Until May 2013 she headed the project & # 132; Multilingualism at the Heidelberger Hof in the middle of the 16th century & # 147; funded by the DFG and ANR . in cooperation with German and French researchers under the title & # 132; Dynamics of the vernacular in Renaissance Europe.
