Anna Rot (* 1983 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

life and career

Anna Rot was born in Vienna. Between 2004 and 2008 she received her acting training at the Rostock University of Music and Drama , from which she graduated. For the next two years she was engaged at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen . She later played in Vienna, Mülheim / Ruhr, at the Meiningen Theater , at the Schauspielhaus Graz , and most recently at the Théâtre de Vanves in Paris.

The then eleven-year-old made her début in front of the camera in 1994 in the film Something on the Heart . Her portrayal of Lea in Sabine Derflinger's film Day and Night brought her several awards.

In addition to her native German, Anna Rot speaks Viennese dialect and fluent English and French. She lives and works in Vienna and Berlin.
