Anne Meacham

Anne Meacham (born July 21, 1925 in Chicago , Illinois , † January 12, 2006 in New York City ) was an American actress .

Anne Meacham was best known for her appearances in plays on both Broadway and Off-Broadway . Especially in pieces by Tennessee Williams , she brought outstanding performances. In 1958 and 1960 she won the Obie Award for Best Actress.

Her best-known TV role was that of Louise Goddard in the long-running television series Another World (1964-1999). She played this role from 1972 to 1982.
