Anneli Marian Drecker (born February 12, 1969 in Tromsø ) is a German- Norwegian singer and member of the Norwegian band Bel Canto as well as an actress .

Live and act

At the age of 16, she founded the band Bel Canto with her friends Geir Jenssen and Nils Johansen , which have released six albums to date. In 2000 she released her first solo album Tundra . The second album Frolic was released in 2005 only in Norway. The third album Rocks & Straws was released on April 24, 2015 via Rune Grammofon .

Since 1989 she has worked with various artists such as Tsunematsu Matsui, Hector Zazou , Simon Raymonde, Jah Wobble , Ketil Bjørnstad , Röyksopp and a-ha .

Drecker lives with Jon Marius Aareskjold; they have three children together. Anneli Drecker is the daughter of Peter Drecker from Bielefeld , who emigrated to Norway in 1960, and is therefore also a German citizen.
