Lifelines is the seventh studio album by the Norwegian pop band a-ha . It was released in April 2002. In Germany it reached number 1 on the album charts.

history

The album, on which four producers worked with Stephen Hague , Clive Langer , Alan Winstanley and Martin Landquist , was recorded between June 2001 and January 2002 over a period of six months. It starts with the title track, a ballad that was released as the second single. The video of Forever Not Yours , the lead single, was recorded with Harald Zwart in Havana , Cuba .

reception

The Allmusic side wrote that the album had clear differences compared to the last album, but was "undeniably A-Ha". It awarded 3 out of 5 stars.
