Anneliese Klein

Anneliese Klein (born January 20, 1941 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and winemaker . From 1998 to 1999, Klein was a member of the Austrian National Council .

Klein attended elementary school from 1942 to 1952 and middle school from 1952 to 1956. She then completed an apprenticeship between 1956 and 1959 and attended the commercial vocational school for retail and wholesale. She then worked as a retail saleswoman from 1956 to 1960 and was a winemaker from 1969. In November 2001, Klein was awarded the professional title of economist .

From 1990 onwards, Klein became politically active as a councilor of the FPÖ in Gumpoldskirchen and from 1995 onwards she was a councilor in Semmering . In addition, from 1995 onwards, Klein was the district chamber councilor in Mödling. She represented the FPÖ for a short time between May 25, 1998 and October 28, 1999 in the National Council after the MPs Erich Schreiner and Hermann Mentil had to resign due to the " Rosenstingl Affair ". Klein had to withdraw her candidacy for the National Council election in 2002 for health reasons.
