Annette Jünemann

Annette Jünemann (born August 18, 1959 in Hamburg ) is a German political scientist and professor of international relations at the Helmut Schmidt University / University of the Federal Armed Forces in Hamburg .

Life

She studied political science at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . After stays abroad in Italy , she completed her doctorate in January 1993 at the University of Hamburg . After that, they took a Habilitation - Fellowship of the German Research Foundation to complete, the research in Brussels , Rome , Madrid , Barcelona and Paris included. In July 2000, Annette Jünemann completed her habilitation at the University of Kassel . She was a private lecturer there until, in 2003, she accepted an appointment at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich for almost a year .

Since October 2003 Jünemann holder of the Chair of Professor of Political Science with a focus on International Relations of the Institute of International Relations of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of the Helmut Schmidt University / University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg. Her main research interests are in the field of international relations, in particular external relations of the European Union . The regional focus is on the Mediterranean , the Middle East and North Africa .
