Annette Klosa

Annette Klosa (* 1966 as Annette Wünsch ) is a German non-fiction author and member of the Duden editorial team .

Life

From 1985 to 1991 Klosa studied German , history and prehistory in Bamberg, Mainz and Munich. Her master's thesis is entitled Mixing forms of strong and weak verbs as a norm problem in modern German . Then she worked as an editorial assistant at the Ceres publishing house RA Oetker in Bielefeld. From 1992 to 1995 she completed a doctoral degree in German linguistics at the University of Bamberg . As a dissertation topic she chose negating loan prefixes of contemporary German . During this time she lectured at her university in the subjects of German as a foreign language and German studies. In the first two years she was also employed in the press and public relations department at the University of Bamberg, where she was entrusted with the article work for the university newspaper. As an employee of the International Office , her job from 1994 to 1995 was to advise and support students abroad. In 1996 she moved to the Duden editorial team in Mannheim, where she became a member of the Scientific Council. In 2001 she ended this activity in favor of academic collaboration at the Institute for German Language . Since then she has been in charge of the “ elexiko ” project, which is an online dictionary for public use of language.

From September 1, 2015, Klosa, who had been released for this, headed the information center of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Ho Chi Minh City , Vietnam , for two years and was also a lecturer in the German department of the Hochschule für Geistes - and social sciences at the Vietnamese National University in Ho Chi Minh City. Before that, in 1996 and 2001, she had already taught outside of Germany, namely as Visiting Assistant Professor for German at the University of the South in Sewanee , Tennessee .
