Annika Strauss

Annika Strauss (born December 13, 1984 in Nürtingen ) is a German actress , writer and screenwriter .

Life

Annika Strauss grew up as the youngest of three children in Reutlingen . After graduating from high school in 2005 , she began studying general rhetoric and German at the Eberhard-Karls-Universität in Tübingen , which she completed in 2013 with a Master of Arts .

Acting career

Even as a child, Strauss had a passion for school theater , where she played her first leading role as Tabaluga . Even before her studies, she attended a private drama school in Stuttgart for a while, but later decided to take private acting lessons, which she took alongside her studies.

With the independent film La Petite Mort by Marcel Walz , she made a direct entry into the German independent scene. To date she has participated in over 30 productions . She was able to secure the title of “German Scream Queen ” through films like Schlaraffenhaus and Plastic .

Author career

She published her debut novel Kaleidoskop der Sch towards 2014 together with the management consultant Jürgen T. Knauf.
