Anselmo Vendrechovski Júnior (born September 16, 1982 in Wenceslau Braz , Paraná ), better known by his nickname Juninho , is a Brazilian football player in the position of defender .

career

Juninho received his first professional contract with Coritiba FC , in whose second team he started his career. In early 2002 he made the leap into the first team, with which he won the Paraná State Championship in 2003 and 2004 .

At the beginning of 2005 he moved to Botafogo FR , with which he won the Taça Rio in 2007 . In 2008 he was signed by São Paulo FC , with whom he won the Brazilian soccer championship that same year . In 2009 he returned to Botafogo and won the Taça Guanabara with the Alvinegros . In 2010 he was loaned to the South Korean club Suwon Samsung Bluewings and sold to the Mexican club UANL Tigres in the same year . With this he has won the Mexican soccer championship three times and the Mexican cup competition once . Another great success with the Tigres was reaching the finals of the Copa Libertadores 2015 , which were lost to the Argentinian record champions CA River Plate .
