Antônio Flávio Aires dos Santos , better known as Antônio Flávio , (born January 5, 1987 in Brejinho de Nazaré ) is a Brazilian football player . The striker won the Swedish championship and national cup double in 2009 .

Career

Flávio played in the youth of Atlético Goianiense and Clube Andraus before joining the EC Santo André in 2007. He moved in 2008 into the first team and joined the club in the second-rate Série B at. In the same year he won with the team the championship of A2 as part of the Campeonato Paulista and climbed into her Series A on.

In summer 2009 Flávio left his home country and moved to Europe to the traditional Swedish club AIK , which was fighting for the title in the Allsvenskan . After playing ten games in the first Brazilian league for EC Santo André by July of that year, he moved to Northern Europe for an estimated fee of between two and three million Swedish kronor borne by an investor . At the local derby against Djurgårdens IF he made headlines when the two-time goalscorer wore a t-shirt that read "Hata Göteborg" after the 2-0 win. He pointed out that he could not speak Swedish and therefore did not understand the label. On the last matchday of the 2009 season , he contributed to the 2-1 away win at direct competitor IFK Göteborg with his goal to compensate for the championship win. A week later he was one of the goalscorers when he met again at the cup final alongside his strike partner Mauro Iván Óbolo and thus helped the team to their first double win in club history with a 2-0 win. In March of the following year he also distinguished himself as a decisive player when he scored the decisive goal in the 1-0 success in the Supercupen game against IFK Göteborg.

In the 2010 season, Flávio only scored two goals this season and slipped with the team in the relegation battle. After the class had been held, AIK was forced to give it up for financial reasons. The club therefore loaned it to the Brazilian club AD São Caetano , with which a purchase option was also agreed. There he scored nine goals in 32 games in the Série B, and also scored five goals in ten games in the São Paulo state championship .

In January 2012, AIK sold Flávio to China and signed a contract with Nanchang Hengyuan . He played here for two years, when he moved with the team to Shanghai .

In early 2014, Flávio returned to Brazil, where he first played in Série B for AA Ponte Preta . During the year he moved to CA Bragantino within the league .
