Career

Óbolo began his career at CA Vélez Sársfield . There he could not assert himself, however, and was initially awarded to CA Belgrano within Argentina and then to Piacenza Calcio in Europe . In 2003 he returned to Vélez, but was again unable to assert himself and was awarded again. His next positions were at CA Lanús and the Spanish club FC Burgos . In 2006 he left Vélez for good and moved to Arsenal de Sarandí within the Primera División .

In the summer of 2007 Óbolo moved again to Europe and went to AIK in Sweden with his teammate Lucas Valdemarín . On his debut in the Allsvenskan on July 3, he scored his first goal for the new employer when he scored the goal to 1-0 in the 72nd minute of the game in a 2-0 win over Trelleborgs FF . Overall, he brought it to five goals this season in his first half series in Sweden. From the following season he was one of the regulars at the club from Solna. In his first overall series in Sweden, he was in the starting line-up in all 30 games of the season and never missed a minute. In addition, he led the club's internal goalscorer list with ten goals this season. In 2009 he was in the starting line-up in all games and led the club to the championship with nine goals. In the cup final against IFK Göteborg shortly after the end of the season, he was one of the goalscorers alongside Antônio Flávio , who led the club to a double with a 2-0 win.

In January 2010 Óbolo returned to Argentina and signed a contract with his former club Arsenal de Sarandí in the Primera División . There he had his regular place in the storm, found himself with his team in the midfield of the Primera División. At the beginning of 2012 he moved again to Vélez Sársfield. He finished the Clausura 2012 with his team in third place. In mid-2012, he was signed by league competitor CD Godoy Cruz . He played there for two years before moving to CD Universidad Católica in Chile in mid-2014 . There he initially had a permanent place in the team, but lost it and left the club after six months. He joined CA Belgrano in early 2015 , where he ended his career in late 2016.
