Antoine Fillon (born May 17, 1964 near Bordeaux ) is a French drummer.

At first the young Antoine took piano lessons, but lost interest in it due to a strict piano teacher and her “convincing arguments”. When he was 12 he heard a drummer and decided to learn this instrument. Since the Conservatory in Bordeaux refused to accept him, he tried to teach himself the instrument. It was not until 1981 that a drumming school founded by Dante Agostini opened in Bordeaux , of which he was the first student.

In 1984 his grandfather gave him his own drums when he passed his Abitur. This was followed by two years of military service, which he spent in the music corps. Subsequently, Antoine Fillon spent a year in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil , where he spent a lot of surfing and even more music.

In 1990 he came to Frankfurt am Main because his wife found work there. He got by with various part-time jobs and played in various bands, including the Nobby Styles Blues Band , which could often be heard in the “Werkstatt” music bar in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen .

In 1995 he heard from a befriended bassist that Helmut Zerlett was looking for a drummer for his band on the Harald Schmidt Show . He signed up, went to the casting, and was selected.

1999 Antoine Fillon next played Harald Schmidt and Thomas Gottschalk in the movie Late Show by Helmut Dietl a drummer.

When Harald Schmidt switched to ARD , Fillon came to work as a drummer in the ARD show band . He accompanies the musical guests of the late night show " Harald Schmidt ".

In 2006 Antoine Fillon went on tour in the backing band of Hans Werner Olm .

Together with Mario Kempf (singer and, among others, lighting technician for the Harald Schmidt Show), Amaretto (bassist in the show around Hans Werner Olm) and Jens Frank (guitarist, among others for Warlock , Darxon and Stimmkraft ), he founded the band JAMA in 2006 whose name is composed of the first letters of the names Jens, Antoine, Mario and Amaretto. In the same year JAMA played in Kosovo as part of the troop support for KFOR .
